Marguerite

Marguerite is a physical actor, dynamic communicator and character creator. She received her master's in Physical Theater & Devised Ensemble Work from Dell'Arte International in 2020. Having trained extensively in a variety of physical modalities of expression; including corporeal mime, mask, clown, bouffon, acrobatics, dance & aerial silks - her work ranges from the emotionally intense to the delightfully absurd. She has performed in a number of cabarets & variety shows in CA, and devised over ten original works. In 2022 she independently co-produced and toured Jumella, an aerial silk and mask piece telling of the spirit’s search for transcendence, through California with her first company Falling Object.

When not working directly on the stage, her focus has been on how theatre bridges gaps within society to foster better communication and social cohesion. By taking an interdiciplinary approach to co-creation, she has partnered with such groups  as the Integral Ecology Resource Center, the North Coast Indian Council, and the Farm Arts Collective where her work was featured in the New York Times. Currently she is working on integrating the ephemeral soft skills of the theater into mainstream society in partnership with Stetson Law.
